I know that this will happen. I did my 20% water change and I have raised up my collection cup on the remora skimmer. I still have way to much coming out. Seems like about a gallon an hour. Maybe I should just let it run a little while, I am just not sure what to do now!|||That is a but load of water comming out of the skimmer. It doesnt have an adjustment valve to regulate the flow.. It could just be going bonkers because of the amount of fleshy red slime entering the bubble chamber. Seems weird. I know my skimmer goes nuts whenever I have a massive algea outbreak and I spoenge the glass but never that extreme.
I would just let it run its course if you cannot adjust the flow.
