How to remove red nail varnish off a cream carpet?

have spill red nail varnish on a white cream carpet and cannot seem to remove it have tried nail varnish remover and white Spirit but that's doesn't seem to be working what else could i try? have thought about putting a wet cloth on the area with a hot iron on top of the cloth but not sure whether this will make it worse. Anyone have any idears please.|||Once it is dry, you are pretty S.O.L.





If the area is small enough, you can clip the fibers with sizzors.





If you have a scrap of the same carpet, you can use a knife to cut out the stain and cut a patch out of the extra and use double stick tape to put it in place.
