my hair is very red/orange and some splotches of black. i thought it was okay to go ahead and dye it another color (medium brown) but after reading a little i was wondering if there were some precautions i should take ...and what will my hair look like after i dye it if i go ahead and choose to do so? [someone with experience]|||Go to your local beauty collage where they do hair for a fraction of the cost. They will probably add a greenish shade ( green + red= brown) regardless they wii be able to help you get the color you want. Also while you are there you might check into a scalp treatment and deep conditioner (maybe another $5 or $10) and be sure to tip the person these people are in school and they really do the best they can. There are instructors there as well so they get professional opinions)Best wishes.
