How can I remove the red nail paints off my white Vest?

I got a accident earlier spill a small of red nail paints on my white vest so i did try remove it with nails polish remover and it not gone complete. so anyone guess how get it off complete.. Vest is white. so do i can bleach it or it will ruin eventually more?|||You didn't say what material the vest is made of, but if it is ruined with the spots on it, you aren't going to hurt it any further by apply spot removers or bleaches.
