Blonde to red now i want brown is colour remover very bad for your hair?

I had short hair and was always dying it blonde as it did't matter as it quickly grew out whether i damaged it or not. When i started to grow it out I dyed it dark red so that it would make my hair better condition for growing. I have always dyed my own hair and not had any mishaps

I really would like to grow it very long and would like to match it to my natural hair colour a light brown.

So if i used colour remover would it leave patchy results as part is blonde underneath?

Would it be very bad for my hair?

I really do not think that i could ut brown onto even though it is a bit faded now but still quite a dark red. Dying it dark brown might work but then i would have to further dye it to hid my roots.

any advice would be great thanks.|||Color remover is always gonna be extremely damaging to your hair especially because if the red. Reds are the hardest color to remove even a Professional salon usually can't get it entirely out. i would dye your hair the lightest color brown that will cover the red. then keep it at that. Alot of times brown will fade and your roots wont be too noticeable and just do a root touch up if you really need to. You want to limit your dye as much as possible and color remover wont help.|||If you do it at home, it will most likely come out patchy. I've never had an even result doing it myself even though I've been bleaching my hair for a while.

If you do it correctly, you can minimize damage and you probably wouldn't even notice a difference, but doing it wrong can result in very severe breakage.
