Just bought my son 2 pairs of new shorts in white %26amp; red %26amp; it looks like an ink stain on both pairs but he don't know how it go there. I've tried some stain remover %26amp; that didn't help but don't know what else to buy that would really work. Does the oxi clean really work like it says it does or is there anything else that does?? Thanks|||IF it is ink, rubbing alcohol or hair spray will work.
I gave my new can of OxiClean away. It didn't work at all for me on anything I tried.
Any product labeled "stain remover" will work, but not all work on all stains.
The best thing I have ever found is Mean Green from the dollar stores. It contains soap and some type of whitener. Works on 99% of what I use it on, and it has TONS of other uses.|||I really like and have had success with Shout gel stain remover - it has a scrubbie thing built into the top of the bottle.
Also, if it's on white, try a Chlorox bleach pen + the stain remover. Be careful on the red, though - if you scrub too hard, you end up with a faded spot.
Good luck!|||It really depends on the stain. Many don't need "stain remover" products, like blood for example comes out with cold water.

^ has a suggestion that include things like vinegar. You can probably find more suggestions via google.|||'Spot Shot' works miracles on floors, I would give it a run at your shorts. Ink is very difficult though. Take them to the drycleaners as a last effort...they are pros at stain removal. :)) GL
