If you put wart remover cream in a open cut will it get infected?

i have a open cut and one of my friends gave what he thought was neosporin but after we put it on we found out that it was actually wart remover cream and now my cut is red and swollen is it infected?|||sounds like it. dont panic, just rinse it well with warm water (about 20 mins) and then get some antiseptic or some dettol/savlon diluted with water ( about 1 to 4 of water) and soak for about 5 mins, dry it off and sprinkle some talc on it to dry it up. should be ok then. but go see the doc anyway. the label for the ointment should tell you if there are any dangers.
