Okay, so I did something really stupid. I used Nair Hair Remover between my eyebrows. The hair came off, but now the skin is pinkinsh-red where I did it! It looks really nerdy! I wouldn't be so concerned but my school's "meet the teacher night" is in 2 hours and it still hasnt gone away(it's been over 3 hours since I did it.! I've already tried aloe vera.|||It's not going to go away soon. Try wearing a hat to cover the top. Wash your face with oatmeal once a day. Yes,oatmeal. If you have seen Bubzbeauty on YouTube, she does it too. It reduces redness, and makes your skin soft too!
Good Luck!|||try putting ice over it for a little bit but that probably was not a good idea nair hair removal is only for your body ,if you use it on your face it will irriate it and turn red..|||well its not going to really quick to go away but if there NO broken skin try petroleum jelly on it
it might help or just use neosporn

I used a cream hair remover from veet. after using it i my skin is red and irritated it's sensitive.?
is this forever? dangerous? is it going to make a scar?|||I don't think it is going to make a scar but I am pretty sure you are allergic to it. I had that same reaction and so now I don't use it. How to get red dried nail polish out of the carpet? ?
I have a light pink carpet and recently spilt bright red nail polish all over it, I've tried nail polish remover but it didn't work, is there anything else I can try?|||Often nail polish on carpet is just on the very tips of the fibers. If this is the case you can just snip the polish off with sharp scissors.
Just cut the very tips of the fibers. Work slowly. Don't cut a single millimeter more than you have to and pull up while cutting. This will help prevent divots in the carpet. Try your best to do just one or two fibers at a time...not a whole clump.
This will work unless you have used nail polish remover and have worked the nail polish deeper into the carpet.
Good luck.
-|||Nail polish remover will remove not only the polish, but also the dye in the carpet. Try hydrogen peroxide dabbing at first then maybe some scrubbing after wards with a tooth bush. If that doesn't work you can use rubbing alcohol.|||Bad news. You can't.|||Try using some baking soda.

How do I get the remove red dye which has bled onto other clothes?
I used Rit Color Remover and that was a complete disaster - it actually took the color out of the blue clothes and left all the red in. Completely worthless and expensive effort. I've had other instances of red color bleed and bleach has never worked for me. I do not ever dry the damaged clothes before trying to get the red out. This last batch was washed several times as well as using color remover.
My husband said to just write it all off and that's probably good advice.
Please don't answer to tell me to use bleach or Rit anything.
Thanks!|||Hi Noel,
I have been there done that, and have ruined lots of clothes in the past. Now I keep in the laundry cupboard a product called Dylon Colour Run Remover - Coloursafe. It's a life saver when your coloured clothes turn pink because of red colouring.
If your clothes are coloured it's important you only use the "Coloursafe" Dylon Colour Run Remover and try to treat it as soon as possible.

If your clothes are white and turn pink because of red colouring then you can use Dylon Colour Run Remover - Whites
http://www.dylon.com.au/fc-whites.htm
The product really works, but don't be temped to use the Dylon Colour Run Remover - (Whites) on your coloured clothes like I did one time. It will do the same thing as Rit Colour Remover did to your clothes.
Your husband might be right, it could be to late to save your clothes this time. But it's a good idea to have both Dylon Colour Run Remover for Whites and Coloured clothes in you laundry cupboard for future accidents.
I can buy this brand where I live. If you can't get the same brand where you are there is sure to be another brand that does the same thing.
From Noelene Sydney Australia.|||You're never going to be able to enjoy those clothes again, even if you find a way to remedy the problem.
If you don't want to save them to wear while painting, gardening, or cleaning around bleach splatters ... I say cut them up for cleaning or car washing rags.
I'm an extremely frugal person. But, there comes a time when it's more important to know when to quit wasting your time.|||Umm... So you put them in boiling water one by one and let them stay in for like 5 min. and then take them out and ta-da! No more red!!!

Should I strip/use color remover or bleach my hair?
I have very long, dyed dark warm brown hair right now but I want to go red. Not like fire engine red, but an intense deeper red. Would I be better off using color remover to attempt to strip my hair of color, or using bleach?|||Use strip and colour remover. Bleach will damage your hair a lot.|||I always use Color Oops. If you put wart remover cream in a open cut will it get infected?
i have a open cut and one of my friends gave what he thought was neosporin but after we put it on we found out that it was actually wart remover cream and now my cut is red and swollen is it infected?|||sounds like it. dont panic, just rinse it well with warm water (about 20 mins) and then get some antiseptic or some dettol/savlon diluted with water ( about 1 to 4 of water) and soak for about 5 mins, dry it off and sprinkle some talc on it to dry it up. should be ok then. but go see the doc anyway. the label for the ointment should tell you if there are any dangers.

Best eye-make up remover for sensitive eyes?
I wear mascara quite often but when i take it off with my usual remover my eyes go red and sting. Are there ones that are less harsh?|||You can just use baby wipes for sensitive skin. That's what I use and they work good. I use Johnsons 3 in 1 sensitive skin facial wipes, they don't sting at all! However, if it stings for you, splash your face with cold water straight away after :)

Will nail polish remover damage a macbook?
I have red nails and i accidentally scraped them against my white macbook. Is it ok to use nail polish remover on my laptop, and if not what can i use to remove the nail polish?|||If your nail polish remover contains acetone I think it may cause some discolouring, but only when exposed to long periods of time. I think ISOPRO or any high percentage ispropyl alcohol (90%+) will work too but then again, I'm not completely sure.|||It won't discolor the plastic, but it will melt the plastic, acetone melts plastic. How do i dye my very dark red hair chocolate brown?
I have dark hair with a tint of red (used to be very red) I want to get a chocolate brown for summer.
Would i achieve this by using hair colour remover and then putting a dye on top? Is it even possible? I am sure it is because Cheryl Cole has recently done this.

Dark Red nail polish on carpet?
I spilled some dark red nail polish on my carpet. I removed some of it with polish remover, but am afraid to use more because it might damage the carpet. Any ideas on how to get it out.|||To remove nail polish from carpets, nail polish remover will work but you need to use caution because it can also remove dye from your carpet. On light coloured carpet it might not be noticeable but on darker colours. TEST FIRST!For carpet, always test any kind of chemical stain remover/cleaner in an out of the way place like a corner. Non-acetone polish remover is probably safer but no guarantees. Nail polish remover may be harmful to carpet or fabric.Do not use nail polish remover unless you read the label as it may be harmful to different types or carpet. You could also try using a lot of water, keeping the stain wet, then use about 15-20 squirts of hair spray and 3-5 splashes of rubbing alcohol. Scrub gently with a small scrub brush. Blot with paper towels. Repeat as necessary. Don't forget to keep pouring water during the process. You could try using shaving cream, Windex,or rubbing alcohol. I have heard some of these have worked.
You could even try one tablespoon of ammonia and 1/4 cup hydrogen peroxide depending on what colour your carpet is but make sure the room is well ventilated.|||let it dry, get on hands and knees with good light and use stout tweezers and a pocket knife to abrade the paint off the fibers. If too stubborn for this and you can get away with it, cut into the dried blob with tiny, sharp sturdy sissors, and brush it with a stiff brush. Or cut out tiny blobs without making too much of a big noticable hole. You can also use something like white-out dry-dabbing ever-so-carefully to soften the garish or pinkish leftover.|||I know it's kinda late for this, but I would buy some to keep on hand for the next time. I saw this stuff on one of the home shopping shows. It was shown by a man named PROFESSOR AMOS. Thats the name of his products. The one you need is the one with banana oil. You won't believe the stuff! It works on lots of stains, not just nail polish. I spilled burgundy polish in my husbands new truck. I got out what I could with remover, then used Professor Amos' product, and it all came out. I've used several of his products, and they all do just what he says.

How to deal with cream hair remover side effects?
I used Nair cream hair remover for face last night and I think it took off the top layer of skin or SOMETHING because now I have red scars and it burns a little whenever I put moisturizer on it...is there anything I can do to get rid of this ASAP?|||The hair remover was too strong for your sensitive skin. It caused a chemical burn due to the harsh chemicals and you may have left it on too long for your skin.
There is nothing you can do to get rid of it, like all cuts, scrapes, and burns you just have to let them heal. You can apply some neosporen to help it heal faster, but for now it's just a waiting game.|||I agree with the previous respondent. The creams like Nair say no more than 10 minutes on but if your skin is sensitive i would start off with 5 minutes see how it works and add a minute each time. lso, never do this on skin after a shower when pores are open; that will irritate your sking for sure

Why is my face red and dry after taking off my makeup?
I wore makeup for the first time last night and today after I took my makeup off last night, my skin is dry and red today. I even have to pimples on the top of my lip below the nose.
Do you think that it is from using this makeup remover I brought that is only meant for lips and eyes, which I used on all of my face and neck.|||Well, one of the things might be is because your skin isn't use to all the makeup, then makeup remover. If, you're like me, your skin will most likely always behave like this with cheap makeup, and harsh removers. Try to use more brand-name makeups, so your sure that it won't be cheap, and hurt your skin. As for removers and cleansers for your face, use types that are specifically meant for sensitive skin.
Hope this helped! :D|||I feel your pain.
I think it could be from the make-up or the remover.
I am guessing that you have pretty sensitive skin. Wearing and removing make-up without wrecking your skin in the process will be a challenge.
Let's start from the beginning. I don't know what type of make-up you are wearing but some of them are quite hard to remove.
Use a creamy remover. There are tons of them out there. I happen to like a product called The World's Greatest Make-up Remover available at the drugstore but Neutrogena makes some good ones.
Then you are going to need to cleanse your face. Use the most gentle cleanser available. CeraVe is good as are some by Olay. Again, lots to choose from. But what you shouldn't do is use a heavy duty cleanser to get everything off of your face at once because you will just strip your skin.
From there you can use a non-alcohol toner and light moisturizer but these are steps that you can skip.|||The redness could be an allergic reaction to the makeup remover you're using or your skin might be sensitive.|||your makeup may contain HCl, its an acid commonly found in the product you are using.

How to get red nailpolish off a green shirt?
yeah about a one inch streak of red nail polish on my green shirt, not pretty.
how can i get it off? i tried a tiny bit of nail polish remover, and it didnt really work, and i'm afraid to try more because i'm afraid it'll corrode or do something to the fabric.
any suggestions?|||You can try almost everything (except bleach)
Sometimes Windex, Easy Off, OFF, hairspray, or non-acetone polish remover will help.

Can I dye a blue acrylic blanket by using red dye?
I am buying a 100% acrylic baby blanket for my daughter. It's a blanket that has been discontinued so finding the right color has been difficult. I finally found a blue one and I want to dye it a light purple color. Can I just use a small amount of red dye? Or would using a color remover then purple dye be the best route...?|||First you would need a special kind of dye because the ones we can buy in the craft store won't work on acrylic. If there's a silky binding, there isn't any dye that will color it. Because you can't predict how much red dye you would need to get the shade of purple you want, I'd go with your idea of using the the color remover first. http://dharmatrading.com might have dyes that will work on acrylic.
How do i dye over my dyed brown/ red hair to blonde?
I have natural blonde hair but i have been dying it brown/ red for bout 2 years now. How do i get rid of the brown/ red colour and go back to blonde.
Can I just dye over it?
Or do I have to get remover? If so where do I get it|||I'm actually removing the colour from my hair now!! I dyed over my blonde hair and it went dark red. I researched on the internet and found "color oops" and "colour Zap"- I think they might only be sold in America, but I'm not sure. I'm from the U.K. and found a similar product called "Colour B4". I did a strand test and it took the colour back to blonde. I'm waiting to see if it works on the whole head now though!
It seems pretty good, and has had good reviews on the internet. Just google "colour b4 hair colour remover reviews". It doesn't bleach your hair and has no ammonia or peroxide in it. There is a long explanation and simple instructions in the box. It basically says that it removes all colour that has been deposited on the hair, but wont return to your natural colour if you have had bleach or highlights. It will return it to the lightest shade underneath the dye. However, some colourants "stain" the hair with red/black pigments, and the colour remover might leave copper hints in your hair if this is the case. (It also has instructions on how to fix this) And it is safe to dye your hair straight after using this product if you wish to.
There are also lots of "how to" tutorials on youtube showing how people have used colour correction.
I got mine from Boots, although I'm sure they sell this product and similar ones in any drugs store. Hope this helps :).|||My friend Lucy had this same problem, she went to the hairdressers who stripped some of the color using bleach, it hasnt immediately gone back to blonde, it is a light brown, but it is gradually lightening as the interim lighter color they put in is coming out.
To go from dark to light, there is no alternative to bleaching if you have used a permanent colorant, but you dont want to do too much damage to your hair.
I have naturall dark hair but bleach it very light blonde, using L'Oreal Perfect Blonde Maximum Lightening Creme. This will leave your hair kind of yellowy, so after the lightening, you then need to apply a toner, such as Clairols Born Blonde Toner...if you find a shade of toner that is same as your natural hair color, then that would be it, from then on your natural color could grow, no more bleaching required. That said I think you could do it yourself, even though my friend didnt, but do strand tests first and follow instructions to the letter if you do.
Good luck!|||Look into this website, they have some excellent information about your question:

This will leave your hair kind of yellowy, so after the lightening, you then need to apply a toner, such as Clairols Born Blonde Toner...if you find a shade of toner that is same as your natural hair color, then that would be it, from then on your natural color could grow, no more bleaching required. That said I think you could do it yourself, even though my friend didnt, but do strand tests first and follow instructions to the letter if you do.
Good luck!|||Look into this website, they have some excellent information about your question:

Scott Cornwall extra strength hair colour remover? Has anyone ever used this and what was it like?
I dyed my naturally dark blonde hair permanent dark brown 5 months ago, however today I dyed it a permanent deep plum red amd beacause my roots were lighter, it has come out bright red at the roots and black everywhere else. Was wondering if scott cornwall hair colour remover was any good? And what colour to expect my hair to come out after? And can I dye straight on top of this?|||Ive used this and HATED IT! tbh i think the reviews on the boots website are fake..
i had natural blonde hair then used a dark brown dye, kept it for a month then decided to try scott cornwalls colour remover, i followed the instructions completely and the colour didnt lift at all, not in the slightest :| and it definately does not leave your hair in "amazing condition" like that girl above said, it left my hair really dry and horrible.. and my hair was healthy and sikly before hand.. it also took it 2 deep conditioning treaments to get it back to normal again, which wouldnt be bad if it worked! :(
if you do decide to still use this, yes you can dye straight on top.|||Hi, ive used Scott Cornwall extra strength hair remover and it is amazing!! i dyed my hair (light brown naturally) black 5 times then red twice resulting in black with a red tinge. I used one application of the hair colour remover (leave it on for 1 hour it gives better results) and my hair was back to its natural colour but with a slight brassy tinge but it looked great :D. Your hair should go back to dark blonde no problem though! If one application does not get all out then 2 boxes may be needed (though i used only one box and i have very long thick hair). Your hair will be left in amazing condition too. If you are unsure of anything Scott Cornwall has a facebook page search for him using this "Scott Cornwall Hair Expert" GOOD LUCK :D x

How to remove red nail varnish off a cream carpet?
have spill red nail varnish on a white cream carpet and cannot seem to remove it have tried nail varnish remover and white Spirit but that's doesn't seem to be working what else could i try? have thought about putting a wet cloth on the area with a hot iron on top of the cloth but not sure whether this will make it worse. Anyone have any idears please.|||Once it is dry, you are pretty S.O.L.
If the area is small enough, you can clip the fibers with sizzors.
If you have a scrap of the same carpet, you can use a knife to cut out the stain and cut a patch out of the extra and use double stick tape to put it in place.

I used a cream hair remover on my lip and it left two huge red marks, will they/how can i make them go away?
kane?|||Be sure you washed your face with warm water and soap and then put some lotion on it. It will go away quickly , the same thing happens to me.|||It'll go away in a couple of days.
Put a bit of lotion.|||Seems like you left the cream on too long or (if you didnt) your skin is too sensitive to even tolerate the cream for the time you're instructed to leave it on for- in which case you can customise it to accomodate your skin by leaving it on for a minute or two less. Help! Blue & Red Frosting on white carpet!! How do I remove it?
Hello,
Grandpa decided to come over and surprise my 4 kids with a July 4th cake. My 2 year old and 12 month old decided to get into it this morning and they smeared the very very dark blue, red and white frosting into our white carpet!! Does anyone know how to save our carpet? I have carbona ink and crayon remover and I have oxyclean in my house, but I don't know if I should try these. I also thought that maybe I could use shout stain remover and then use the carpet shampooer to clean it up. Any suggestions? Please help!!|||I would first try the carpet shampooer after you try to dry clean as much as possible. If the stain is dry, vacuum and pick out as much as the frosting as you can with your fingers, a comb, or a spoon. You do not want any excess frosting left in the carpet because it may spread.
Try the carpet cleaner, if it does not get everything up try the oxyclean.
As a last resort or to get any remaining color out dab it with a 90% water/10% bleach mixture. If you mix it properly it will not bleach the carpet (but you said you have a white carpet). Use a white rag and after the bleach use cold water to pick up any remaining bleach of color.
Good Luck!

Is it normal for bleached hair to turn red after dying it black?
I had yellow hair that was bleached. Then I dyed it black (well on the box it looked dark dark dark brown) though, because I didn't like it. It's turning brownish red now though. So my questions are..
a) Is that normal?
b) If i were to get a hair color remover, would my hair turn blonde (like the bleach) or reddish brown?|||First of all, no hair color aside from bleach is permanent.
Because you stripped all pigment from your hair when you bleached it, the black dye has nothing to stick to and will fall right out.
It is suggested that if you want a brown or black color after bleaching, that you first color your hair redish to add pigment and then put your desired color.|||Well it's probably the bleaching that's causing the fading effect and causing warm red tones to show in it. Bleach strips hair of texture so the dye has nothing to grip. And if it'd been true black it wouldn't be fading btw.

What Should I Do to Lighten my Red Hair?
I had dyed my hair a strawberry blonde at home, and it came out fine, though it looked nothing like the results on the box. So, I decided to go to the salon to let them take care of my hair. I asked the girl for my same color, just with a little more red, so it doesn't fade as easily. Well, my hair looks like a bright auburn, which is NOT what I wanted at all. I wanted a subtle change, and now my hair doesn't even match my eyebrows. I called and asked for them to fix it, so now I have an appointment tomorrow. The girl that did my hair suggested putting brown in my hair, but I don't want brown hair, or darker hair to get rid of the red. I want the color she deposited in my hair removed with a color remover or soap cap...somehow. I want my hair back to how it was before. What should I tell her to do tomorrow, seeing as she seemed set on dying my hair brown? My hair WAS a natural reddish blonde, and is now VERY UN-NATURAL bright auburn.|||I have naturally very Auburn hair which sounds like what the salon dyed yours to be. I really wanted to lighten mine up for the summer but I LOVE the red in my hair so I wanted to lighten it up but keep the red which sounds like what you are looking for. I went to my hairdresser and she added Blonde (warm blonde, not platnum) highlights all over my head. We didn't even have to add more red because the warm blonde really brought out the red but REALLY lightened up my hair too. It was cheaper than dying my whole head and I have had TONS of compliments from random people (even men) on the color. I think I have pictures taken before and after if you need them. It gave my hair a whole new color without all the mess of stripping the color and redying.
What kind of Box dye did you use? My mom dyes hers red out of a box about every 2 weeks so if you know the kind and color you used I might be able to help more.|||Red hair fades to blonde easily in the sun. Just go spend a little time in the sun and you will have it lighter. Don't let her dye your hair again. It is too soon. If you want to really lighten it quickly, go buy some Prell shampoo. That is the harshest shampoo you can buy. Wash it a few tiimes with Prell and then condition. That should help, too.

PLEASE HELP ME. I bought a facial creme remover and my skin burns?
I bought Sally Hansen facial creme remover and the area burns like crazy and is all red and irritated. What can i do i have no Aloe Vera left. I am returning this product tomorrow! What can i do to calm the redness?|||This is a chemical burn in all probability although it can also be an allergic reaction. Treat is first as a burn. If the skin is generally intact use bacitricin and coat the area lightly. keep the area clean by using unscented soap twice a day.
If you are finding raised red areas it may be allegic reaction time. Treat it like a burn and you mighht try an oral antihistamine like Benadryl (Generic is Diphenhydramine.)
Hair removers like Nair, Sally Hansen, etc dissolve the protiens that make hair so that it will just wipe off. The base of the hair shaft is softer and is more easily disolved than the top is so the hair closest to the root goes first. If left on too long the reaction you describe is a common result due to the fact that the stuff likes to eat skin too. So you end up removing a layer of your protective epidermis every time you use it. If you use the stuff too frequently your skin has not had a chance to grow more outer skin and so you start getting close to the inner dermis which hurts and is in fact what a burn does.
Befor using a depilatory again test a skin area to see if it prevokes a reaction. Why? Because if it IS an allergic reaction you will become increasingly sensitive to it and the reaction will be worse every time you use it.
What you can try:
(ask a doctor or pharmasicst 1st)
Antihistamine tablet such as Piriton or Phenergan along with a cortisone cream should solve the problem. Also avoid hot showers or baths, which will always make an allergy worse.
An alternative diagnosis would be folliculitis where there is a spot of redness at the base of every hair follicle where the pubic hair has been shaved. In the pelvic area the possibility of an infection of these hair follicles arises in which case bathing in salt water then applying an antiseptic followed by hydrocortisone cream is an advisable treatment.
If any spots should begin to weep or ooze then obtaining an antibiotic in cream or tablet form from your doctor would be appropriate. Your symptoms should soon settle down and cause no further bother.|||Just use cold water and cool compress. Wash your face for a few minutes under cold water [no soap] then use a washcloth soaked in cold water on the area for like 10 minutes at a time throughout the evening.
Most lotions and creams will irritate your skin more, in this situation it's usually better to just let your skin 'breathe' and not put anything on it. If you get any sores though, maybe put a little neosporin on to help them heal faster.

Why do my lower legs get all red and bumpy when I shave?
I use shaving gel, I change my razor every two weeks, and I put lotion on afterwards. But my legs get all red and bumpy, and the follicles swell up. When those go down (usually the next day), my legs still aren't smooth. The hair is starting to grow again by then. It basically looks like razor burn, and I don't know what to do. It looks horrible. Can I highlight blonde over my faded red hair?
Dyed an auburn brown over my dyed light brown color. It faded a lot and the light brown is showing through while the red is hardly noticable. Would it be safe to highlight a blonde over? I do not have enough money to get it done at a salon. I would also like to also avoid color remover.|||Anything involving peroxide or lightener is very damaging. I'm sure there are others.|||Maybe but it depends try it if not have your hair black!|||ask the someone who works at that place before purchasing it
I used a hair remover cream on my face and now it's burned, what do I do?
I wanted to get rid of the "peach fuzz" on my cheeks so I tried a hair remover cream meant for faces, and I guess my skin is really sensitive or something because it got tingly, then numb, and now it's bright red and completely burned.
What can I do to fix it? I put on a lot of lotion already, but any other ideas?|||It's usually an ammonia or phenol burn (hence a chemical burn so it shouldn't be covered). Initially a cold compress can reduce further damage then the application of some aloe or bacitracin ointment such as Neosporin.
Keep the area clean.|||Ouch, had that once too. Let it rest and heal, aloe vera lotion may help. If you want to use a hair remover cream, test it on the inside of your elbow first to see if you're allergic.|||You did what :( girl you should never do that again you should only be using wax products for your face now i never heard of peach fuzz but if it has to do with the face then you should wax. Now to help what you effected you need something pure and natural try going to sprouts... coco butter alvera. Good luck

Red nail polish help? How can you get rid of it?
i put nail polish remover on my nails which had red nail polish on it.
When I took it off,I still see some red in my nails. How can I get rid of it.|||oh dear you've got your self into a pickle there mate |||After removing the polish, push back all of your cuticles and trim them. Then use more polish remover. Wrap a nail file or orange stick in cotton, dip it in polish remover and go under your nails, around the edges, everywhere you can reach. Then use a nail file for any small, stubborn spots. Then, give your nails a good scrub with a nail brush and use a good hand lotion to moisturize. Then, next time you paint your nails red, put on a clear polish FIRST, which will make the red easier to take off :-)|||You can get rid of it by rubbing your nails with Nail Polish Remover until all of your old nail polish is gone and it is okay to paint your nails again but make sure that all of your old nail polish is gone.|||Okay this ALWAYS works for me! i have that problem all the time
Create a solution/ mix of red wine, orange juice, and a bit of onion. you should have a semi-lquiddified solution, and use it to clean your nails!!!
GLAD I COULD HELP!
God Bless |||Red nail polish tends not to come off when you use remover. What i do is push that little piece of skin down at the bottom of your nail and then do remover. it helps. i don't know how to get it out of the sides though|||Whenever you paint your nails red, always put a clear base coat under so that the paint doesn't stain your nails. That's what happened to me and I still can't get it off. Now my nails are all orangy, lol. |||Leave them for a while, then try taking it off again.
And fornext time, always apply a base coat, this prevents your nails from being damaged or stained :)
Good luck :)

How to remove red sharpie from the nindento?
I put on red sharpie on my ds to make it look cool but it got all blurry! I want to remover it!!!!! I try nail polish remover and it only help a little and germ-x didn't help at all! PLZ PLZ PLZ PLZ PLZ PLZ PLZ HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!|||Regular isopropyl rubbing alcohol 70% will work but 90% works better to get out so called 'permanent' sharpie ink. Let it soak for about a minute then start wiping a little with a soft cloth also soaked in rubbing alcohol.|||Spray some hairspray on a clean cloth %26amp; wipe gently until the red is gone. Use as much hairspray as needed. Once the red is gone, use a clean cloth, slightly dampened with cold water to remove the residue. Hairspray will also remove ink stains from clothing %26amp; most fabrics.|||Try using tooth paste. Scrub it on a small spot to see if it works. My wife says that is what they use in her class room.
What's a good stain remover to use that actually works?
Just bought my son 2 pairs of new shorts in white %26amp; red %26amp; it looks like an ink stain on both pairs but he don't know how it go there. I've tried some stain remover %26amp; that didn't help but don't know what else to buy that would really work. Does the oxi clean really work like it says it does or is there anything else that does?? Thanks|||IF it is ink, rubbing alcohol or hair spray will work.
I gave my new can of OxiClean away. It didn't work at all for me on anything I tried.
Any product labeled "stain remover" will work, but not all work on all stains.
The best thing I have ever found is Mean Green from the dollar stores. It contains soap and some type of whitener. Works on 99% of what I use it on, and it has TONS of other uses.|||I really like and have had success with Shout gel stain remover - it has a scrubbie thing built into the top of the bottle.
Also, if it's on white, try a Chlorox bleach pen + the stain remover. Be careful on the red, though - if you scrub too hard, you end up with a faded spot.
Good luck!|||It really depends on the stain. Many don't need "stain remover" products, like blood for example comes out with cold water.

How can I get my semi-permanent red hair dye out?
I have naturally blond hair, and in April I dyed my hair a deep red color with a 28 wash out dye. The color came out electric red, and 2 months later the color is still in. I've tried a store bought dye remover, but that only slightly faded the color. I really want to get back my blond hair.|||Definitely clarifying shampoo. Suave, neutrogena, and Tresemme all have a clarifying shampoo. Shampoo with it twice each time you use it. also try that haot water thing.
And when you style your hair always put a lot of moisture and products liek gel in it so when you wash your hair the products stick to the color and will rinse it away.
Then when it fades as much as it can you have to put a dye on it. Red is like a permanent stain. It migth turn brownish but it will always be there|||I suggest finding a salon and getting a malibu treamtent. It should cost no more than $10. Malibu treatments are typically used for removing hard water stains as well as other harmful minerals that well water and hard water leave in the hair. I used to have purple in my hair and I got a Malibu Treatment and now my hair is back to it's highlighted self. You could also try shampooing with a clarifying shampoo and the hottest water you can stand.|||Go to a salon and see if they can strip your hair and professionally dye it back to blonde for you. Red tones are sooooo hard to cover up. I would keep it red though... prettier :D|||answer mine?

My natural hair colour is medium brown. About 7 months ago I dyed my hair dark brown at home. I loved the results, although the colour faded rather quickly and left my hair with a red brassy tone. My hair is now medium brown with a red tone to it. Although my roots have no brass tone to them whatsoever.
Im wondering what can I do to take out the redish tone in my hair. Will colour remover work? Or will it fade eventually?

How to get nail polish remover off a wooden table?!?
I laid a towel out and everything but somehow the remover from the cotton swab soaked through and now there are these small, but white towel textured marks on our brand new kitchen table. Is there any way to get it all out or at least lighten the colour a little? It's a dark red wood, by the way.
I'd appreciate any help as my dad doesn't know yet!
Thank you :)|||It may have taken the stain off the table, in that case, you're kinda in trouble. But try some white tooth paste not gel. Put a dab, let sit for a few minutes and rub in a light, circular motion wit a soft cloth. Then rinse, with a wet clean rag. It should help remove any artificial spots, maybe that'll help. That's what we use on wood to remove water and heat stains/spots. Good luck.|||Sorry, but there isn't anything that will remove/cover nail polish remover. If liquid "Scratch Cover" polish is still sold in the furniture polish aisle of the grocery/dept. store, that may be one option. At least it would cover the spots %26amp; hopefully blend in with the color of the table. How do I get rid of these red bumps?
ok so to make a long story short, when i was younger i decided to shave my butt because i thought it would make it smoother even when i didnt have any hair. so now, i do have some light hair on it and i use sally hansen hair remover. its like a spray can, or veet to remove the hair. sometimes i get red bumps and sometimes i get so many red bumps its horrible. what kind of hair remover can i use that will not give me red bumps? and how can i get rid of the red bumps?|||Um,its normal to ge red *bumps* when you remove
hair there. you are just very sensitive to it. And its very common to get red blemish because of those products, i have try it too!
I seldom shave,Wax and remove any intimacy hair cuz i am too sensive and the itchiness are almost overbearing to handle. :/
Its not really the remover that is the problem. I suggest that you get a body cream suitable for intimacy hair and after shave. = ]
and dont remove the hair so often or try using wax instead. =P But you can still get red spots of it b/c its seems you are a bit sensitive!
Thats all methods i can think off. ^^;;|||I dont fully understand your question

What to do if my skin gets irritated to a certain makeup remover?
what should i do? After using a certain type of makeup/remover, the skin around my face got irritated and turned red with lots of "bums" along with itchiness at times. Now i am frustrated and confused; i stopped using that type of makeup/remover right after the irritation. How to remover nail varnish from leather sofa?
I know im answering my own question but i had to share this with everyone!
my daughter got red nail varnish on my brand new brown leather sofa and i didnt know what to do!
I know NOT to use nail varnish remover, but thats the only advise i could find on internet short of spending a fortune on cleaning products or specialists, so i sat and thought about it for a while and came up with the idea of sticky tape! it took a few goes to remove everything, but im left with a sofa as good as new, no marks, no fading, nothing!
HOPE THIS HELPS FOR YOU!|||Unfortunatley even though you cannot see it ,by taking off the nail varnish with sticky tape you will probably have removed the finish on the leather which should be replaced otherwise you will have problems with that area of the leather.

How to get rid of a red mark on lip from squeezing a blackhead?
Yesterday I squeezed a blackhead on my lip (yes - I know it's a stupid thing to do!) I didn't use my fingers, though - I used one of those blackhead remover little metal hoop things.
Anyway, this morning I have a red mark from where I squeezed it, and I'm a bit scared it might turn into a scar. Is there anything I can put on it to help heal it/make it go away?
Thank you!!|||It shouldn't scar, it's just pissed because of the trauma of removal. Ice will take down the swelling, or some preparation H ointment. It will go on its own but this will take the redness away. Just use a new tube of preparation H because otherwise, eww. Next time ice it right after you remove and you shouldn't get the mark. Good luck.|||it will go just hide it with conceler or sumthing for a while...|||Try bio oil, it's good stuff !|||Alicia, I could finally find a solution for this problem, read this blog before taking any action

Allergic reaction to Estee Lauder eye makeup remover! How can I get the swelling and itchiness to go down?
I used Estee Lauder eye makeup remover at a friend's house last night and I woke up with my eyes almost swollen shut. The skin around my eyes is very swollen, itchy, and red. How can I get this to go away?|||The same thing happened to me with some make up years ago. You need to keep your eyes and face clean, keep washing them with cold water and take some antihistamines - if it doesn't go down in a couple of days get to the docs.|||Try diphenhydramine.
Brand name Benadryl.
Works for allergic reactions.
PRESCRIBED FOR: Diphenhydramine is used for the relief of nasal and non-nasal symptoms of various allergic conditions such as seasonal allergic rhinitis. It is also used to alleviate cold symptoms and chronic urticaria (hives). Although antihistamines are the preferred class of drugs in allergic rhinitis, they only reduce symptoms by 40%-60%. Diphenhydramine also is used for allergic reactions involving the eyes (allergic conjunctivitis), to prevent or treat active motion sickness, and for mild cases of Parkinsonism, including drug-induced Parkinsonism. The last two uses (motion sickness and Parkinsonism) are based on the anticholinergic effects of diphenhydramine, and not its antihistamine effects. Diphenhydramine is also used for treating insomnia.

Getting red wine out of carpet?
I spilled some red wine on my carpet Sunday night. I have used oxi clean and 409 stain remover, also I have tried my carpet shampooer. The stain is getting better. But does anyone have any other wonderful ideas?|||This works best if you do it immediately. First, blot all excess with paper towel. Mix a few ounces of hydrogen peroxide with several drops (1 tsp) of liquid dish liquid in a spray bottles. Spray and blot until stain disappears. Works on white/light colored carpet, upholstery, clothing. Test on colored textiles and fabric in an inconspicuous area first.|||Try pouring some vodka on it and work it into the stain, then suck up the excess with you carpet shampooer. You can also try rubbing alcohol if you don't have any vodka. Neither one will leave a odor when dry.|||according to martha stewart..white wine takes red wine stains out. I have never tried it though|||Dawn dish soap|||Pour white wine over the stain. White wine will neutralize red wine and will make it easier to lift the color off of your carpet or clothing. Very gently blot the liquid up with a thick towel -do not to rub as this will force the stain into the carpet or clothing fibers. Then, either take your favorite carpet shampoo or clothing stain remover, and clean as you would it there was a bit of dirt on the carpet . Or, make a three parts baking soda to one part water mixture. Put this on the stain and let it sit until completely dry. Then, vacuum out completely. You can repeat this step|||GET a new carpet.
How do i get red wine out of white leggings?
Spilt red wine on my leggings, took them off and put them in cold water until i was able to put stain remover on and put them in the washing machine. They've been through the wash about four times now, and the stain looks like a grease mark, how do i get it out?|||Absolutely the best way I've found is something called Wine Away. I've been using it for years and it works amazingly. I don't have any affiliation, I just like the stuff. You can get it at most fine wine shops and I'm sure you could order it from online somewhere.
You just spray it on and in seconds the stain is gone. This works best when the stain is fresh, like right after you spill so its good to keep some around all the time. However, it does work with older stains but the success rate drops the longer the stain has been there. I have seen stains disappear that were there for days, but if it has been weeks or months then it may only fade a bit.|||Almost impossible to kill a red wine stain. You can try bleach. If that doesn't work, you may just have to dye it white.|||You could try dabbing some bleach, very carefully, on the remaining stain. Just don't dry them until you are satisifed you have removed the stain.|||I spilled red wine on white carpet and used Oxy Clean to remove it. I made it rather pasty. You just spray it on and in seconds the stain is gone. This works best when the stain is fresh, like right after you spill so its good to keep some around all the time. However, it does work with older stains but the success rate drops the longer the stain has been there. How to get red nail varnish out of a white carpet?
My two year old sister decided it would be a good idea to go into my room and paint herself and (more importantly) my white carpet red with my nail varnish. I've tried nail varnish remover and vinegar both haven't really worked too well. Help?!|||Red coloring can be a really strong stain, and unfortunately, if the carpet was wool, the vinegar could have acted like a dye fixative and made the staining permanent. (Vinegar and other acids are how dyes are made permanent on fibers like wool and silk).
You need to find out what the carpet is made of to make sure you don't set the stain accidentally when trying to clean it. Renting a deep steam cleaner might help the nail varnish let go of the rug fibers.|||Often nail polish on carpet is just on the very tips of the fibers.
This will work unless you have worked the nail polish deeper into the carpet with the nail polish remover.
Also...cutting the nail polish works on shag or plush carpet, but not Berber or loopy carpet.
Good luck.
-|||You can also use hydrogen peroxide if your carpet is white since it has bleaching effect. Now, blot the stained area with your wet towel. After all the stains were removed, you may rinse the carpet using warm water. Dry the area thoroughly before allowing anybody to use it. You can also take carpet cleaning service from shirazantiquerugs (www.shirazantiquerugs.com). They care for our carpets meticulously and offer the same superior cleaning and restoration resources.

How can I get red dye out of a light blue shirt?
My son's brand new bright red jumpsuit somehow got mixed up in the same wash cycle as my husbands work shirts and the colour has bled onto one of his light blue shirts. I have soaked in napisan and sprayed with stain remover but the stains are still there.
Am I fighting a losing battle or is there some miracle stain remover I don't know about?|||Perhaps try a bleach labeled color safe? Or even one that is NOT color safe. It may ruin the shirt, but if it is already ruined by being red, I guess there's nothing to lose in the trying!|||Tough luck

How to get highlights without using color remover?
Mixed medium auburn and dark brown and got a reddish browb hair color. It faded to a light brown I had dyed over my brown hair with highlights. It still has some red but its hardly noticable. Can I dye my hair back to brown with highlights without it becoming a disaster color? I don't have the money to go to a salon. And would like to know if this can be done without using color remover?|||Everyone's hair has different porosity, (it's ability to absorb and take on the desired color) and dyeing already dyed hair is often a shot in the dark. I have done it many times with mixed results. (Ended up with orange hair on one occasion bc of chemical mix)
The worst thing is that it's a disaster and you have to dye it a darker color.
Bon chance!

How can I remove a red pop stain from beige carpet?
I had a two liter of red pop explode in the backseat of my car on my beige carpet. I have tried every stain remover possible but nothing seems to even make it lighter. It's really expensive to replace carpeting so I'm trying to fix it myself. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated :)|||You can try all of these solutions but I doubt you will be able to get the stain totally out. These stains are the hardest to get rid of.

What is the best way to get red dye out of carpet?
My child spilled red cherry koolaid on my freshly shampooed carpets. I have ran the steam cleaner over it several time and have left it there sitting even to remove the stain to no avail. We initially tried that oxyclean stain remover and that just made it worse. I've seen ads for cleaners that are specifically for red dye removal but there pricey (usually 20 bucks a bottle). Is there a cheaper way without ruining the fibers of the carpet. Help!!! Thanks!!!|||Carpet guy had the only answer that might work, except when applying iron to damp white cotton towel the iron must have water in it and set on low steam setting, just placing the iron on towel on low heat will not open up the dye sytes of the carpet. In trigger sprayer bottle mix 3 tablespoons of what you use to clean dishes by hand(Joy, Palmalive, etc.) with one cup peroxide, fill with hot water. Spray area with solution, lay your damp white towel over the area sprayed, then place iron on towel adding slight pressure to iron hold down for no longer than 30 second intervals. After the first heat transfer process lift up towel and inspect for the transfer of the red dye if present keep repeating process by respraying area and rinseing towel each time.|||scissors|||Dye stains are one of the hardest to get out the carpet. I would recommend using a wet vac and slowly pour hot water (from a kettle) on he spot and vacuum it up at the same time, (this will remove the residue from the stain). If the stain is still visible than try putting dishwashing soap (2 or 3 drops into one cup of water. Dampen a white towel with the soap and water and lay it over the stain. Then place a clothes iron on the top of the stain. Make sure the setting is on "LOW". Let this sit for about ten minutes DO NOT press down (this will open up the dye ports on the carpet fibre releasing the stain). The stain will start to transfer into the cloth. Keep on using a clean area in the cloth. Repeat until there is no more dye transfer to the cloth. After this you should rinse the area again with the wet vac and water.

I have a white Maltese, and she has these ugly red tear stains around her eyes. I am trying Petgold tear stain remover and applying it everyday, but the stains aren't budging. Help please. Thank you.|||Hi There I use Eye Envy. I swear by it. It is all natural and will not hurt your baby's eyes if you wipe across the eye. Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What causes excessive tearing and staining:
A: Staining can be caused by a variety of things:
Clogged or Shallow Tear Ducts: Studies indicate that 20-25% of small dogs and cats are born with closed of shallow tear ducts. Tears overflow because there the eyelid space is not deep enough to contain them.
Excessive Tearing: When the face hair is wet from excessive tearing, it becomes a breeding ground for bacteria and yeast infections (AKA: Red Yeast, which causes deep reddish-brown stains); Low grade bacteria infections may also cause excessive tearing.
Cutting Teeth: Cutting teeth may cause changes in the head %26amp; mouth structure of your pet, placing pressure on the tear ducts.

f you wish to attempt to remove tear staining from the facial hair there are a several things that can done. There are a number of products available from the dog products suppliers at shows or through mail order that can be used on the facial hair on a daily basis. However, it is my opinion that unless you have minimal staining these products just do not work. When I say minimal I equate that to less than 10%.So in short dont waste your money!
I have several methods that I can suggest to remove tear staining. Care must be taken in using these products or any other chemical solutions to not get anything in the dog's eyes. It is also important to remember that when attempting to removing tear staining you my also be damaging the hair.
Bleaching (not recommnded)
Before you bleach make sure you condition the hair well first. What works best for some is Wella Kolesterol, pack the face furnishings with this for several days before you bleach. After you bleach make sure you neutralize the effects of the chemicals you have used and condition the facial hair after any attempts to remove stain.
Milk of Magnesia, corn starch and peroxide (20 volume to 40 volume)
Use equal volume of MOM and peroxide, and then use the corn starch to make a good paste of this; put on and work well into the stained area and let dry overnight. Wash out, CONDITION WELL. Keep doing this for several days until tear staining is gone, although I would recommend skipping a day or two between applications if possible. I also like to use a few drops of Nexus KerapHix in this mixture to help with conditioning.
This MOM formula is my personal preference when I do need to remove tearstain color from the face of my dogs. It works quite well overnight.
2% Peroxide %26amp; Crown Royale Magic Touch
Use the Magic Touch (#1 is best for Maltese) grooming spray concentrate full strength 1:1 with 2%/3% hydrogen peroxide - as opposed to human hair peroxide (formula above). Mix up enough for a week at a time %26amp; keep in a closed bottle. Use as cotton ball to clean the eyes. This can be drying to the coat so follow with a conditioner such as Paul Mitchell's The Conditioner (a human product). This is a longer term lifting of color over a week or two and may need to be conditioned to maintain clear conditions. Crown Royale's phone # is 1-800-992-5400 and is also available from many vendors at the dog shows.
Crown Royale makes a product called "WHITENER"
Mix this with human hair peroxide (20 volume to 40 volume) into a paste and again leave on overnight. The Crown Royale Whitener works a lot like MOM/peroxide, it works faster but IMHO it is much harsher -- again, CONDITION WELL. Crown Royale's phone # is 1-800-992-5400 and is also available from many vendors at the dog shows.
Human hair bleach
There are any number of brands of this. When I started in Maltese a number of years ago my mentor told me ONLY to use Wella Wellite (this is the one in the light blue/turquoise package). Many of the human hair bleaches are very harsh and they all work, but care needs to be used in selecting the bleach to use. A gel based bleach such as Wellite is much gentler than some of the other beaches available. Other products that many have used with success is Quick Blue and Redken. Like Wellite they are very gentle products.
I've tried others but always go back to Wellite. When you bleach it is important to use a product such as DuoLube, a sterile mineral oil ointment, in the dogs eyes for protection. You can buy this at most pharmacy/drug stores.
NOTE: Please use caution if you are going to try bleaching -- this is a last resort and one that should be rarely used. If you are not familiar with this procedure please ask our breeders for advice or help. Also it will infringe KC regulations if caught!
#1 All Systems Whitening Gel
This is a gel product that contains a mild bleaching agent. It is applied to the facial hair and left to dry. It takes several applications to work, but will also gently help lift some color from the hair. Please see Dog Shopping page for vendors of #1 All Systems products.
When I use a bleaching product one of the things I ALWAYS do is follow up with JOICO Phine (this is a human hair product). This is a chelating conditioner that will help remove all traces of the bleach product. It is most important to get all traces of the beach from the hair. I you do not and then dry with moderate heat the bleach can "frizzle" the hair causing irreversible damage.
The bottom line of removing tearstain color is CONDITION CONDITION CONDITION. I also use 40 volume peroxide most of the time. My personal hairdresser told me that if your going to bleach 20 volume is just as bad for your hair as 40 volume -- the color comes up faster with 40 volume. The DAMAGE you do to the hair -- and yes bleaching can do damage -- is the same with 20 volume as 40 volume. It depends on how long bleach is on the hair (time) as to the amount of damage and it is shorter with 40 volume -- hence less damage. Cream peroxide and gel peroxide are less harsh than the liquid variety.
And finally, don't be impatient. If you have a face that is badly stained it may take several attempts to bring the color back up to white. Do it several days apart and in between CONDITION CONDITION CONDITION
Where to Find Products
Human Hair Products - Bleach, conditioners, etc. Look for a Sally beauty supply -- this franchise chain store is in many areas (strip malls) of the US and carries reasonably priced products. If you don't have a Sally look for a strip/mall type of beauty supply store.
Dog Supplies %26amp; Services - I've had so many people ask over the years where to buy products I suggest. So, I started collecting the names, phone numbers and now web sites. Go have a look -- this page is always growing.
Yellow Stains (urine) %26amp; other stains on feet
Okay, I know this article is about tear staining, but I have so many people ask what to do about urine and other types of stains on paws I decided to include this "fool proof" formula.
It is not unusual for Maltese to stain yellow on their feet from urine, mud and other things. A good formula to remove this yellow color is one made of 50% liquid Woolite and 50% human hair peroxide (20 volume), dilute this 50% with water, add a little conditioning shampoo. Shampoo this mixture into the stained portion of the coat and let remain for 3 to 5 minutes. Wash out and shampoo and condition as normal.

The first has to be handled by the vet and the second is an experiment in foods. (I wouldn't recommend experimenting in foods at this time.)

Euro Bichons %26gt; Bichons Grooming %26gt; GROOMING FOR ALL THE BICHONS %26gt; REmoving yellowing and already present tearstains.|||Two products: "Angel Eyes" and "Angel Glow", one treats the direct stain area and the other is something you sprinkle on their food to balance their ph that causes the stain.|||Alot of times its the ph in the body. A friend of mine who has springers recommended giving my dog tums to help reduce the ph. I asked my vet about it and she said it wouldn't hurt to try it. Worked for my American Bulldog :) Good luck|||I have heard that giving them only filtered water to drink will reduce the staining, but perhaps this is an old wive's tale? The individual who told me this said even the stuff run through your refrigerator water dispenser is good enough.|||Tear stains are caused by a tear duct problem or a dietary/digestive problem. The first has to be handled by the vet and the second is an experiment in foods. (I wouldn't recommend experimenting in foods at this time.)
As a groomer I have had an ongoing struggle, trying to reduce or remove tear stains and my only solution came down to snipping the offending hairs back, as long as there weren't too many.|||don't you take your dog to a groomer? they have products to help remove the stains.|||Try Eye Clens or Show Eyes that you can order online from Drs. Foster %26amp; Smith catalog, they are quite reasonably priced in comparison to PetsMart or PetCo.
What is the best leg hair remover that can be used on the bikini area?
I need a leg hair remover that is gentle enough to use on my bikini area that won't cause the red bumps.|||OMG i have the red bumps too! Finally, someone that understands! Nair hair removal does a pretty good job!|||nair.

How do you remove red grenadine from carpet?
Someone spilled red grenadine on my carpet and it has been there overnight. Resolve carpet remover has not worked. How do I get it out?|||I have had pretty good luck using Oxyclean on food stains, it even gets red wine out. Just follow the directions for mixing with water and make sure it's dissolved or the undissolved bits will leave light spots.|||What color is the carpet?? Anything red is going to be hard to get out of anything. I have used this stuff called la's totally awesome, prolly get it at the dollar store. It works on a lot of things.|||i had red kool-aid in my carpet once and i used rubbing alcohol put some on a cloth and dab it don't rub it and it should come right out mine did best of luck|||You will probably have problems with this.. but attempt if you can the principles shown below:(or any part of it)
The best way to always treat any kind of stain is to catch it immediately so it doesn't had time to make a permenant stain.
Soak the spot first in cold water. Just leave it in the basin for several hours if needed. Do not use warm or hot water when dealing with any kind of stain. Heat will set the stain.
If the cold water alone does not remove the blood, then add about 1/4 cup hydrogen peroxide to the cold water and let that set. Test a small area on the comfortor first. Peroxide is a bleach and can cause some discoloring. You may need to add more peroxide if necessary.
Finally empty the sink and refill with 1/3 cup vinegar and cold water. The vinegar will rinse all the peroxide out. Do not dry the comforter in the dryer. If all the blood has not been removed (you may have some hiding in the pile) it will pull the blood to the surface and set the stain.|||try resolve

How can i get rid of little red bumps?
I used Veet hair remover on my legs and now i have all little red bumps on my leg.I tried putting lotion on it but it didnt help. What can i do to get rid of these bumps?|||I would just suggest you not use the veet stuff anymore. You seem to be having a bad reaction. Itll go away but try something else.
I just used sally hansen creme hair remover on my legs and now i have red bumps all over my legs?
i just used it on my shins and it got theses red bumps that itch and burn really bad what r they and how do i make them go away???|||You either have sensitive skin or are allergic to that creme. I'd go to the drugstore and ask for a creme for contact allergies. Keep an eye on that rash and if it doesn't decrease in the next days you should think of having it checked, and of course don't use that creme again!|||you're allergic to ingredients in the creme.
Wash a white linen with a large red stain or not?
I have a large doily that I put over my dresser and it was a pretty large deep red marker stain. I put stain remover on it, but should I wash it in the washing machine or will my doily come out pink?|||As you have already put stain remover on it give it a rinse with luke warm water and washing up liquid. If the doily is white then you could bleach it as long as its not nylon.|||I would try washing it by hand with shampoo
and put in sun to dry|||I *strongly* recommend trying the "Resolve Carpet Crystals" first. This is a crumbly, damp powder which is sort of magic about removing marker stains without damaging carpet. This will probably work for your doily to get the marker color down to a pinkish color without spreading the pink over the entire doily.
As for getting out ALL of the stain, it depends on the type of marker. 3M Magic Eraser also is good, but is hard to use on anything but smooth surfaces.
Some dry cleaning companies may be able to help. If the marker is oil based, then dry cleaning solution can sometimes get the stain out.
All things considered, it's likely you'll end up having to stain the entire doily, then clean it with resolve, and just enjoy having a pink doily.
Good luck!

How do I lighten dyed red hair?
I dyed my hair red 2 months ago and it's gone really, really dark. I would like it to go a more amber/ginger/orangey colour. If I apply a mild blonde hair dye to it, will it lighten it to the colour I want or would it actually go blonde?
(My natural hair colour is light brown, but I have been dying my hair over already dyed hair for years.)
(I used a colour remover before I applied the red dye.)|||just strip your hair and die it the color you want its the fastest way|||I know it sounds silly and revolting but washing your hair in ketchup works wonders, i dyed my hair red and the school rules were that it needed to be natural coloured and it came out too red. you don't need to leave it in too long otherwise it will completely wash out all the dye in your hair, if you have middle length hair then 2-3 minutes will do fine, just judge yourself how much more or less you need for your hair length. It's rather daunting but trust me i did it to my own hair x
just make sure you wash your hair with shampoo after too! otherwise people will be trying to sip chips in your hair ;) xx|||Go to professionals and let them fix it..

How can I remove red nail polish stains from around my cuticles?
I have really nice gel nails on with a high quality red polish. Some of it stained my cuticles and using remover only smudges it more. Are there any tricks to remove the polish from my skin and not my nails?|||they have pens that have a tip filled with nail polish remover that you squirt out so you dont accidentally ruin your whole nail. maybe lemon juice that takes a lot of stains away|||cut off your finger tips
Embarrassing!!i used a hair remover cream on my upper lip now its all red?!?
and sore and i have work tomorrow night (its 9pm now)
will it be gone by then?? how do i make the redness go super fast?|||Ice is good but I think the best of all is cool tea, but try to make it with plants from the drugstore. If you go there buy some marigold cream because it will heal your skin. If you are still red cover your redness by applying : moisturizer, an easy foundation and on top of that some concealer. Do NOT apply any powder because your skin will not heal. For more tips and tricks visit my channel :http://www.youtube.com/user/debistar10|||ummm try ice|||I would buy some aloe vera, I don't know where lol, but aloe vera soothes the skin and sunburns and things like that so i think it might help with this. You should try it ! I use it on my sunburns all the time and it heals it super duper fast ! Gets the redness away too :]|||Put ice cubes on them, or something frozen in the freezer.
Then if it's still red tomorrow morning, try covering it up with a bit of concealer or foundation... your choice. If it's still sore, go to the chemist, and ask for a cream to treat it.|||Mine does that, but the more you do it the skin gets used to it, smooth on a cool skin cream or gel that helps, I'm sure it will be gone by the morning.|||Go to sephora and get this little green foundation stick green foundation hides redness's trust me it will work i got hit in cheer-leading above the lip and the bruise was super red and with the green foundation you couldn't even see it :)

How do I get a red stain off of a leather planner?
I had my white and blue leather planner in my purse along with some nail polish remover pads. A bottle of water spilled on it while it was in my backseat, and now the planner has a red stain from the cloth of the nail polish remover pads. Is it doomed, or is there any way for me to save it? It sounds weird, but it's a really cute planner! Any suggestions?|||What you're dealing with is a dye stain.
The best ink and dye remover I have ever found is Krud Kutter Graffiti Remover鈩?
I tested Krud Kutter personally using permanent magic marker on a porous surface. It out-performed everything else.
What did NOT work: Hair Spray, Rubbing Alcohol, Nail Polish Remover, Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, Hand Sanitizer, and even WD-40.
Krud Kutter was the ONLY product that removed magic marker for me. It's amazing stuff.
Spray Krud Kutter onto a clean rag and just wipe the ink right off. It's that simple.
Krud Kutter is specifically formulated to remove ink, so it actually works.
You can buy Krud Kutter Graffiti Remover at Target, Home Depot, and most hardware stores. It's also available over the Internet: http://www.google.com/products?q=Krud+Ku鈥?/a>

The other thing you can try is a Jean and Dye Transfer Remover Kit which has been specifically developed for this sort of problem.

If the kit does not remove the dye it is because it has travelled too far into the finish and will need recolouring/refinishing to make it like new again.
On pale coloured leather it is crucial to use a good quality leather protector that will act like a scotchgard and inhibit this type of problem otherwise it will simply happen again.

To look after your handbag in the best way there is also a Handbag Spa Kit which will have plenty of cleaner and protector for lots of applications.
